Welcome to Lakeside Nursery and Primary Academy! We are a two form entry school where we cater for children from 2- 11 years old. We are fortunate to have our own onsite nursery- Little Ducklings- which provides outstanding provision for the youngest members of our community.

Our staff team is dedicated, hardworking and experienced and we are committed to providing the best opportunities for all of our children. We are very proud of our inclusive ethos and will ensure that our provision meets every child’s needs. It remains important to us that the children receive a curriculum which is broad and balanced and allows talents and interests to be nurtured and developed and passions to be ignited.

Lakeside is a school where the children are at the heart of everything we do and their happiness and wellbeing is a priority. We aim that by the time the children are ready to transfer to secondary school they will be confident and caring people who have a desire for life- long learning and show many of the qualities seen in our ‘Lakeside Learner’.

We recognise that parents play a vital role in the education of their children. We work in close partnership with all of our parents to ensure that the children at Lakeside have a positive and rewarding experience where they can thrive. We actively encourage parental involvement and strongly value the many ways the parents engage with the school and their child’s education.
